EMASS is an age, cultural and linguistically appropriate, peer-based, outreach and engagement program to support prevention activities and increased access to care for the older refugee population in San Diego.  EMASS is administered by the Union of Pan-Asian Communities (UPAC) through a contract with HHSA’s Behavioral Health Services; UPAC maintains partnerships and connections with various refugee, health and human service, and community organizations to serve the needs of the refugee clients.   

UPAC has main offices in Escondido and El Cajon, however provides services at a variety of locations within the community it serves (low-income senior apartments, faith-based organizations, ethnic based community organizations, etc.); contact the main office nearest you for additional information and locations.
