Veterans Assistance Voucher Payment Standard

Voucher Payment Standard

Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH)

People using our Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing rental assistance are given a certain amount of money each month to help pay their rent and utilities. The amount of money can be different for each family. It depends upon your family size and income.

There is a maximum amount allowed and it is called a Voucher Payment Standard. The Voucher Payment Standard is based on fair market rent in our region and funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

This is not the maximum rent that can be charged by landlords. This is the maximum amount a family can receive, but your monthly assistance may be different.

In the areas served by us, the chart below is the VASH Voucher Payment Standard.
