Purpose: The CHDP program provides in-service training for providers and staff as well as school, childcare, preschool, and Head Start staff in San Diego County.
Services for Providers
- CHDP offers in-services on the first Wednesday of every other month for all San Diego County CHDP providers and staff. Information provided includes: CHDP program overview, screening requirement, Gateway process, and billing procedures. Information is available regarding health education topics, resources and related programs.
- CHDP provides Audiometric and Vision Screening Workshops that consist of lectures and demonstrations. CHDP also hosts periodic in-service training on a variety of topics for CHDP providers and their staff as well as community professionals.
Services for School and Childcare Staff
- CHDP offers training on school entry health exam requirements. Training is open to all school staff and childcare providers.
