Fight Poverty in San Diego County!

State and Federal law requires community participation in decisions about services to the low-income population funded with Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds. The primary vehicle for this citizen participation is service on the local Community Action Board (CAB).

Join the Community Action Board (CAB), which advises the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and the Health and Human Services Agency concerning Community Action Partnership anti-poverty programs.  CAB meets once a month, scheduled regularly on the second Thursday between 3:30 and 5:00 pm.  An application is available by clicking the link below or by calling (619) 338-2799.   Your community needs you!

The Community Action Board meets on the second Thursday of each month, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public; if you are interested in attending a CAB meeting please consult the agendas for upcoming meetings when they are posted on this page, or call (619) 338-2799.
