Chris Ahrens will read from his latest book, Twilight in the City of Angels, a historical novel based in East Los Angeles on the author's grandfather José. Ahrens has worked as a full-time writer since 1973 with words in every major surfing magazine in the world. He is the author of three popular books of surfing short stories, and recently completed a biography on skateboarding legend Christian Hosoi.
