Document: Otay Valley Regional Park (OVRP) Concept Plan Update

Dates of public review: 30-day review period from May 17th thru June 15th

Purpose: The OVRP Concept Plan is a policy document that provides direction and guidance in park land acquisition and development efforts, and the evaluation of proposals that may affect the park. The 1997 Concept Plan described potential trail alignments, active recreation nodes, interpretive centers, overlooks and staging areas within the OVRP. In the almost 20 years since the original Concept Plan was developed, much of the land use in the Otay River Valley has changed. This update will reflect updates to the existing conditions, as well as verify the feasibility of planned uses.

Comments: Please send written comments to OVRP Joint Staff person, Melanie Tylke via e-mail to Melanie.Tylke@sdcounty.ca.gov or mailed to 5500 Overland Ave. Suite 410, San Diego, CA 92123 Attn: OVRP Concept Plan Update. Comments should be submitted on the official OVRP Comment Card and emailed to the address above no later than June 15th. Comments received after June 15th may not be considered in the update to the OVRP Concept Plan.
