Community Enhancement Program

Local non-profit entities may be eligible for Community Enhancement (CE) grant funding from the County to stimulate tourism, promote the economy, create jobs and improve quality of life.
Non-profits that suffered losses due to COVID-19 may qualify for additional funds.
Eligible entities and activities may include: cultural activities, museums, visitor and convention bureaus, economic development councils and other similar institutions/organizations, including County programs and projects.

Additional information:
The Community Enhancement Program funding comes from a set percent of Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) revenues. Assistance for entities impacted by COVID-19 is funded by Board of Supervisors allocated federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.
Grant funds shall not be used for any purposes prohibited by laws governing the use of public funds, including but not limited to, religious, political campaigning, or purely private purposes or activities.
Final award recommendations are made by individual Board of
Supervisors district offices based on the availability of funds,
program guidelines, and the submission of all required information and
supporting documentation.
