Grants and Incentives
The San Diego Air Pollution Control District administers a number of state and local funding programs to reduce emissions from mobile sources.
These programs follow strict state guidelines for eligibility, cost-effectiveness and selection, and require strict accountability and transparency to ensure proper and effective use of public funds.
In the summer of 2018, the District offered multiple grant programs like FARMER and CAPP. For a brief summary of these grant offerings, click here. With the exception of the Voucher Incentive Program (VIP) and Proposition 1B Goods Movement Emission Reduction Program (GMERP), online applications do not require applicants to know which program to apply for; the District will determine the potential funding source for eligible projects.
To assist prospective applicants on the availability of advanced technology available, the District has compiled a list of manufacturers offering such equipment.
