Arts & Culture Commission

On June 28, 2022 (16), the San Diego County Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance creating the San Diego County Arts and Culture Commission. The Commission is responsible for promoting greater cultural equity, access, and inclusion; championing the arts as essential to daily life by investing in a vibrant arts community; shaping innovative cultural policy; and building public awareness of the value and benefits of the arts and cultural diversity.

Our next meeting will be on October 18, 2023 at 1 PM. The Strategic Planning Subcommittee will be meeting on August 31, 2023 at 10 AM. For more information, please visit our commission meetings page.
