NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to purchase on behalf of said County the following described real property located in the County of San Diego, State of California, from the named vendor at the designated price for acquisition of a parcel consisting of approximately 320-acres of vacant land for inclusion into Hellhole Canyon Preserve.

Assessor Parcel Number’s: 191-060-01, 191-060-02 and 191-060-06

The property consists of approximately 320-acres, located at the northeast end Hell Creek Road east of the preserve.

VENDORS:   Friends of Chabad Lubavitch, San Diego

PRICE:          $1,000,000

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to purchase on behalf of said County the following described real property located in the County of San Diego, State of California, from the named vendors at the designated price for acquisition of a parcel consisting of approximately 251-acres of vacant land for inclusion into Hellhole Canyon Preserve.

The property consists of approximately 251-acres, located at the end of Sierra Verde Road southeast of the preserve.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego will hold a public hearing on Waiver of Impact and Permit Fees for Accessory Dwelling Units which includes the following proposed ordinance:

“AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COUNTY CODE RELATED TO THE WAIVER OF IMPACT AND PERMIT FEES FOE ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS”

HEARING INFORMATION:

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Date:          January 9, 2019 and January 30, 2019

Time:          9:00 A.M. (at or after)

Location:     County Administration Center, Room 310, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION:   Waiver of Impact and Permit Fees for Accessory Dwelling Units, the unincorporated area of the County of San Diego

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE:  An Ordinance Amendment to Waive the Impact and Building Fees including: Transportation Impact Fee, Park Lands Dedication Fee, Drainage Fee, Building and Onsite Wastewater System Permit Fee for Accessory Dwelling Units located on lots with existing single family dwelling during a five-year trial period.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:  It is recommended that the proposal be determined to be exempt from environmental review, under Section 15273(a) (1-5) of the State CEQA Guidelines, because the ordinance amendment that defers the time of payment for specified development impact fees will modify the existing procedures for obtaining funds for capital projects.  .

GENERAL INFORMATION: This public hearing is accessible to individuals with disabilities.  If interpreter services for the hearing impaired are needed, please call the Americans With Disabilities Coordinator at (619) 531-5205 or California Relay Service, if notifying by TDD, no later than seven days prior to the date of the hearing.

If you challenge the Board’s action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at a public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the Hearing Body at or before the hearing.  Rules of the Hearing Body may limit or impose requirements on the submittal of such written correspondence.
