Connected - Support for Businesses and Employers
On
February 28, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom signed Executive Order N-5-22 that includes new updates
from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regarding
statewide masking requirements. Effective March 1,
2022, the masking requirement by CDPH has been replaced
by a strong recommendation that all persons, regardless of vaccination
status, continue to mask when indoors in a public setting and/or
business. Universal masking remains a requirement in specified
high-risk settings.
As temperatures begin to drop, portable
outdoor appliances are increasingly being used to
heat outdoor areas. Learn more about outdoor
heater safety.
If you are looking to volunteer or if you or someone you know
is in need of food, please visit the San Diego Food Bank webpage for a
schedule of food distributions taking place this month. Lists are
organized according to program. The following Charitable Feed Guidance provides
recommendaitons on providing charitable food during the pandemic and
clarifies the procedures and protocols required to ensure holidays
meals are distributed safely.
