Public Counter & Kiosk Hours: Counters have reopened as of June 15, 2021, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Starting July 1, 2021, our Public Counter hours are updating to Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a Lunch Break closure from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m

Stay Connected - Support for Businesses and Employers

On February 28, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom signed Executive Order N-5-22 that includes new updates from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regarding statewide masking requirements. Effective March 1, 2022,  the masking requirement  by CDPH has been replaced by a strong recommendation that all persons, regardless of vaccination status, continue to mask when indoors in a public setting and/or business. Universal masking remains a requirement in specified high-risk settings.


As temperatures begin to drop, portable outdoor appliances are increasingly being used to heat outdoor areas. Learn more about outdoor heater safety.


If you are looking to volunteer or if you or someone you know is in need of food, please visit the  San Diego Food Bank webpage for a schedule of food distributions taking place this month. Lists are organized according to program. The following Charitable Feed Guidance provides recommendaitons on providing charitable food during the pandemic and clarifies the procedures and protocols required to ensure holidays meals are distributed safely.

 REPORTING ILL FOOD HANDLERS


The person in charge of a food facility is required to report to the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality when a food employee is diagnosed with COVID-19, Salmonella, Shigella, Enterohemorrhagic, or Shiga-toxin producing E. Coli, Hepatitis A, Norovirus or Entamoeba Histolytica.
