DEHQ Health Permit Fees

The County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) has been conducting stakeholder outreach virtual meetings and workshops to share program updates and to provide an opportunity to comment on the fiscal year 2024-25 cost recovery proposal. Thank you to all who have participated and provided feedback.

DEHQ presented the fiscal year (FY) 2024-25 cost recovery proposal to the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors (Board) on May 1, 2024. The Board voted unanimously to approve DEHQ fees for FY2024-25 and the first hearing of the proposed ordinance changes. The second hearing of the proposed ordinance changes will be held on May 22, 2024. If approved, the fees will become effective July 1, 2024 and can be found here on the list of approved fees or by clicking on the blue bar below.

 

Engagement sessions and workshops were held both in-person and virtual and included program updates, accomplishments, and the fiscal year 2024-2025 proposed fees, followed by time for input, questions and answers.
