Do you want to have your favorite food delivered to your home, but are not sure how? Uber Eats, Door Dash, and Postmates are meal delivery services that work with participating local restaurants. Each company provides a similar service, but may work with different restaurants, have different service areas, or have different delivery fees. You access the services through an app on your smart phone, or through the company’s website.

In San Diego, most options for CSA boxes include vegetables only, but you can look for memberships that include fruit, eggs, and even CSAs for meat and fish, with costs starting around $25 per week. In response to the threat COVID-19 poses to seniors over age 65 and disabled adults, the nonprofit Foundation for Senior Care has started an emergency grocery delivery service. Seniors in the Greater Fallbrook Area (Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, DeLuz) can call the Foundation for Senior Care at 760-723-7570 to place grocery orders that will be fulfilled at Major Market. Seniors will pay for their groceries. While there is not a charge for delivery, donations are appreciated.
