Aging and Independence Services produces a monthly and a quarterly publication with information important to older adults and persons with disabilities.

The Aging & Independence bulletin is a six-page monthly publication (except for a December/January issue), which includes a key article from the AIS Director, briefs and updates about services, items of interest, a calendar of events, and volunteer opportunities with the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

The Safe Seniors newsletter focuses on preventing elder abuse in San Diego County. Articles include features about related programs and services, items of general interest regarding elder abuse prevention, and a listing of current legislation related to elder abuse. The newsletter is a combined effort of Aging & Independence Services and the District Attorney's office.
