Hospital Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for mental health emergencies and situations that require intensive supervision and the medical necessity of a hospital setting at the San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital.

Comprehensive, peer-based care coordination, brief treatment and system navigation to adults with mental health and /or substance abuse issues. Outpatient mental health clinics, substance abuse treatment facilities and primary care sites.

A visit of the County’s Psychiatric Hospital with it's compassionate staff shows how treating mental illness is an extremely complex process.
