Immunizations:
- San Diego Immunization Program: www.sdiz.org
- Vaccine-preventable diseases like the flu, whooping cough, chickenpox and mumps, are still present in our community and still a threat to our children’s health. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic has caused cancellations or postponements of non-emergency medical appointments, parents may find it more difficult to get their children immunized. HHSA recommends that parents contact their child’s healthcare provider to work out when immunization visits can be scheduled safely.
