The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) strives to create a healthy, safe, and thriving community for its many residents. This assessment was conducted at the regional level as demographics, culture, and health outcomes vary among them. This Community Health Assessment assesses the health status of each of the six regions by determining the root causes of health that influence their residents, such as health behaviors, social factors, health services, and policy change.
