Measuring Progress
Is San Diego County living well? Here's how we will track our progress.
Live Well San Diego is an ambitious vision that involves everyone - not just County government - working together. This includes cities, schools, businesses, the military, and faith- and community-based organizations, as well as residents, taking action to improve their own lives. Collective efforts to promote well-being in the region will be measured through the Live Well San Diego Indicators.
The Live Well San Diego Top 10 and Expanded Indicators are part of a framework that spans across five (5) Areas of Influence; Health, Knowledge, Standard of Living, Community, and Social, which influence well-being across the life span of an individual. The Live Well San Diego Indicators will enable us to measure progress towards one vision of a Healthy, Safe and Thriving county as reflected in one or more of the Indicators.
