Clerk of the Board of Supervisors

The Clerk of the Board department is looking for volunteers to assist with taking passport photos. Your job will be to take photos of customers that are applying for a passport, ensuring their photo meets the requirements of the Department of State. The department is looking for someone to assist during busy customer periods from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., particularly on Thursdays and Fridays.

Department of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities

The Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) Department of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Community (HSEC), is home to the Office of Homeless Solutions, Office of Equitable Communities, and the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs.  Through these three offices, we work collectively to ensure equity among all San Diegans, foster a community that is welcoming to new residents and reduce homelessness in the region.  We can provide volunteer opportunities through community outreach, program specific events and providing resources to our underserved communities, as well as, special projects and administrative duties.

Medical Examiner

The Medical Examiner Department’s volunteers assist with the administrative and clerical divisions in the department. The objective of the volunteer program is to have volunteers obtain experience working in a high paced professional setting and use the experience to assist with future employment.
