Queremos evitar que ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes ingresen al sistema de bienestar infantil y crear una alianza con las familias, bas\u00e1ndonos en su experiencia, para que sean los expertos en la seguridad de sus hijos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El nuevo departamento integra la Comisi\u00f3n First 5 de San Diego, Servicios de Bienestar Infantil, servicios de cuidado infantil y otros recursos cr\u00edticos para asociarse con ni\u00f1os, j\u00f3venes y familias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-our-goal\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Nuestro objetivo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuestro objetivo es centrarnos en la equidad, la prevenci\u00f3n y el apoyo a las familias antes de que el cuidado temporal se vuelva necesario para mantener a los ni\u00f1os seguros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo que esperamos lograr:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep families together<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold the family\u2019s voice as the expert in how to best keep their children safe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide family strengthening and\u00a0prevention\u00a0services to families in a more holistic, equitable,\u00a0and integrated way<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce unnecessary child protective actions that have historically harmed and separated families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-our-programs\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Nuestros programas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El departamento est\u00e1 compuesto por varios programas para brindar los apoyos adecuados a las familias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-office-of-child-and-family-strengthening\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Oficina de Fortalecimiento de la Infancia y la Familia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OCFS se enfoca en ayudar a todas las familias y garantizar oportunidades justas de bienestar para fortalecer a las familias y prevenir el abuso y la negligencia infantil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Servicios de prevenci\u00f3n e intervenci\u00f3n temprana: ayuda a conectar a las familias con los recursos desde el principio, para que los ni\u00f1os se mantengan seguros, las familias obtengan el apoyo que necesitan y las comunidades tengan oportunidades justas y saludables para todos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinaci\u00f3n del sistema de cuidado infantil: ayuda a expandir y apoyar a los proveedores de cuidado infantil y al mismo tiempo garantiza que todas las familias tengan acceso justo a un aprendizaje y cuidado temprano de calidad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-first-5-san-diego\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Primeros 5 San Diego<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/first5sandiego.org\/\">Primeros 5<\/a> Promueve la salud y el bienestar de los ni\u00f1os de 0 a 5 a\u00f1os y de las personas embarazadas durante los a\u00f1os m\u00e1s cr\u00edticos de su desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-child-and-family-well-being\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Bienestar infantil y familiar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CFWB se centra en casos de abuso y negligencia infantil utilizando m\u00e9todos tradicionales para reducir y prevenir el maltrato infantil, como:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respuesta de emergencia (investigaciones de abuso infantil): investiga informes de posible abuso o negligencia infantil y decide si se necesita m\u00e1s ayuda para proteger al ni\u00f1o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Servicios de adopci\u00f3n y cuidado temporal: los trabajadores sociales trabajan en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con los tribunales y los socios legales para mantener a los ni\u00f1os con sus familiares siempre que sea posible y para ayudar a las familias a volver a unirse, poniendo siempre en primer lugar la seguridad y el bienestar del ni\u00f1o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cuidado temporal extendido: brinda a j\u00f3venes de 18 a 21 a\u00f1os atenci\u00f3n y servicios continuos para ayudarlos a transitar con \u00e9xito hacia la edad adulta.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Servicios de colocaci\u00f3n y apoyo: busca y apoya a familias de acogida y ayuda a los trabajadores sociales a colocar a los ni\u00f1os en hogares que sean m\u00e1s adecuados para ellos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Programas de fortalecimiento y refugio para j\u00f3venes\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Centro Infantil Polinsky: un refugio de corto plazo (hasta 10 d\u00edas) que brinda atenci\u00f3n y apoyo a ni\u00f1os que han sido colocados bajo custodia protectora.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academia San Pasqual: un campus para j\u00f3venes de 12 a 19 a\u00f1os en hogares de acogida que ofrece un hogar seguro, educaci\u00f3n personalizada y habilidades para la vida para ayudarlos a prepararse para la edad adulta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-our-priorities\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our priorities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our primary focus is strengthening families so that children grow up nurtured and safe. We help families and communities create plans and make decisions to keep children safe.
