Public Feedback Questionnaire
Please help Aging & Independence Services to better understand the needs of older adults and those with disabilities! If you are an older adult 60+, a caregiver, or someone living with a disability, please fill out our online questionnaire. The results will guide us as we plan programs and services. If you are able to, please join us at one of the public feedback forums listed below (the questionnaire will be available at the sessions).
Public Feedback Forums: Share Your Thoughts
The County of San Diego wants to hear from you! Older adults 60+, caregivers, and those with disabilities are invited to an interactive Public Feedback Forum. Vital Aging 2019
Every year, Aging & Independence Services hosts a large conference for older adults and professionals to promote healthy living and explore timely topics in the field of aging.
Over 2,300 older adults and professionals attended Vital Aging 2019: Live Well to Age Well on June 19. The conference was held at two locations: the San Diego Convention Center and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Attendees enjoyed the keynote presentation featuring Marilu Henner, the New York Times best-selling author, actress, producer, and long-time advocate for healthier living. The keynote presentation was telecast to North County. Both locations offered a variety of workshops on subjects such as brain health, fitness, and caregiving, as well as access to dozens of community resources.
