When developing the budget, we must balance available funding with rising costs and potential changes in state and federal funding. Managing resources for long-term sustainability is a priority, guided by direction from the Board of Supervisors and informed by data. Community input also plays a critical role — your feedback helps shape budget priorities and ensures services meet the needs of our diverse communities.
The Chief Administrative Officer releases the recommended budget in May.
