Agricultural Standards - Confirming produce meet quality, packaging and marketing standards, promoting the integrity of local organic operations, and certifying agricultural producers and farmers’ markets. 

Agricultural Water Quality - Working with agricultural businesses to implement practices that prevent pollution to water resources. 

Integrated Pest Control - Controlling and eradicating invasive weeds, performing general weed control for roadsides and airport runways, and performing structural pest control for County facilities. 

Pest Exclusion - Inspecting incoming and outgoing agricultural products to prevent the spread of insect pests and plant diseases. 

Pest Detection - Servicing over 9,000 insect traps annually to protect agriculture and the environment. 

Plant Pest Diagnostics Lab - Processing plant and insect samples to identify pests that can harm landscapes, the environment, and agriculture. 

Pesticide Regulation - Monitoring Pesticide use, investigating pesticide illness and complaints, and conducting outreach to community and industry groups. 

Weights & Measures - Verifying the accuracy of devices like gas pumps, taxi meters and scales, ensuring price accuracy and proper package labeling.
