The Child Support Process

Free, Easy, and secure. Either parent or lefal guardian can open a case.
CASE PROCESS
Time it takes to get an order depends on whether the absent parent needs to be located or if there is an existing court order.
GETTING AN ORDER
If both parents can agree on an amount, they may be able to avoid going to court by filing a stipulated agreement.
PAYMENTS
After an order is set, payments are scheduled to begin, usually by payroll deduction.
