The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors Policy F-41 (Public Works Construction Projects) as amended by the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors on February 8, 2022, establishes a requirement that all bidders on public works projects solicited after June 30, 2022 be pre-qualified. The County will post a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) solicitation to BuyNet on or around the first day of each calendar quarter (January, April, July, and October) with it anticipated that the effective date of prequalification from each quarterly RFSQ will commence on the first day of the first quarter following issuance of the RFSQ. The County may also conduct supplemental project-specific prequalification processes, as may be required from time to time. Offerors qualified via either process shall be prequalified for a period of one year and listed on this ‘Qualified County Public Works Project Contractor List’. Please note that it is responsibility of Contractors to ensure that they submit statements of qualifications to County posted Requests for Statements of Qualifications in a timely manner and in advance of any applicable Contractor Qualification Expiration Date.
