Our Mission: To increase public confidence in government and the accountability of law enforcement by conducting impartial and independent investigations of citizen complaints of misconduct concerning Sheriff's Deputies and Probation Officers employed by the County of San Diego.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency, the April meeting of the Citizens’ Law Enforcement Review Board is canceled.

CLERB offices are closed to the public following Governor Newsom’s order to stay at home during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  You can still file a complaint by mail after completing the following forms or you can scan the forms and e-mail them to us at  Our office number is 619-238-6776, please feel free to leave a detailed message and we will contact you as soon as possible.


Please note the location changes for the upcoming CLERB meetings in 2020.

  • CLERB meetings scheduled in April, May, June and July 2020 will be held at the County Administration Center, Room 302/303, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101.
  • CLERB meetings scheduled in August, September, October, November and December 2020 will be held at the County Operations Center, Campus Center Chambers, 5520 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123.
