Community Needs Assessment Every two years, CAP conducts a Community Needs Assessment through surveys, in-person community dialogue meetings, and a countywide report that informs the Community Action Plan, a two-year service plan for CAP programs. The current Needs Assessment process has begun in July 2026, for a draft report and Community Action Plan due in late 2026/early 2027.  The previous Needs Assessment process and Community Action plan was conducted in  2024/2025.

Resident Leadership Academy (RLA) Coordination

Support of regional RLA efforts through a quarterly convening of RLA practitioners, as well as ongoing technical assistance and training for RLA practitioners.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition

 

 Co-leadership of the local EITC Coalition with the United Way and IRS, including joint funding of an EITC Coordinator position with the United Way.
