Get Involved in Alternatives to Incarceration

As reflected in the County's General Management System, community engagement is at the heart of the Alternatives to Incarceration initiative. Community input has played an important role in shaping the services and programs implemented through our project, and we will continue to solicit community feedback through community listening sessions. See the information below on ways to become involved in the project, and click the button below to receive updates on Alternatives to Incarceration straight to your inbox.

Join Upcoming Community Listening Sessions

The County will be hosting two community listening sessions in mid-April on a new community-based program for people who are justice-involved and in need of services.  The County’s Alternatives to Incarceration team is planning a Resource and Reentry Hub, which will be a centrally located service providing community connections for people leaving jail or who are involved in the justice system.  We want to hear from you on how we can design this program to meet community needs!

Our next Community Listening Sessions will be held on Wednesday, April 17 (in-person) and on Thursday, April 18 (virtual). Click on the links below for more information.
