Hospital Indemnity Insurance

This plan will be in effect January 1, 2026.

Lincoln Hospital Indemnity Insurance can help with out-of-pocket costs while you’re in the hospital and recovering to help reduce the financial impact while you heal. It covers services and treatments that are a result of an accident, sickness or childbirth.

You may cover yourself, your spouse/domestic partner and children under the age of 26.  In order to elect the benefit for your dependents, you must also be enrolled.

Plan Details

• Premiums: Deductions are taken after-tax and are an out-of-pocket expense. This benefit is not eligible to be paid for with Flex Credits.
• Admission Includes: Hospital, ICU and NICU.
• Confinement Includes: Hospital, rehabilitation facilities, substance abuse, and more.
• Imaging Includes: MRI, CT and CAT scans, EEG, PET scans, and more
• Health Assessment Screening Benefit: There is a $50 annual cash benefit for you and each of your covered dependents, after completion of an eligible health screening.
