Enhancing Human Trafficking Prevention and Service Coordination Project
On January 25, 2022, the Board of Supervisors directed the Chief Administrative Officer to develop recommendations aimed at enhancing the County’s response to Human Trafficking, including a peer navigator program, a strategy to coordinate services for survivors, educational and awareness raising efforts and to assess current services and receive community and stakeholder input in order to develop recommendations.

On June 28, 2022, the Board of Supervisors approved recommendations to enhance human trafficking prevention and service coordination.
