New CalFresh Work Requirements Coming Soon

Coming soon, there will be upcoming changes to CalFresh including the reimplementation of the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs) work requirements. Some CalFresh recipients will need to meet the work requirements to be eligible for ongoing CalFresh benefits. Please see below for information regarding the upcoming changes:

• Not all CalFresh recipients will be impacted.
• If you or your family are affected by these changes, you will receive formal notification from the County.
• Resources are available to help meet the CalFresh work requirements.

Please note that California is currently not implementing any of these changes. Currently ABAWDs do not have to meet the work requirements to keep receiving CalFresh benefits.
