Ordinances

The Campo Water Maintenance District (District) operates under two primary ordinances (laws) adopted by the Board of Directors that are available for download (Click here) or on the adjacent table.

Board Policy

In addition to ordinances, the District receives guidance on policy matters related to water services, planning and development, and financial criteria from the Board.  Board Policy I-135 which pertains to the District and allocation of limited sewer and water capacity is available for download (Click here) or on the adjacent table.

Applications

Below is a list of the applications required for provision of certain District services.

In order to request water service from the District, a Water Service Application must be completed and submitted for District approval.

Backflow prevention assemblies must be tested at least annually and immediately after installation, relocation or repair per Ordinance 9678.  The Backflow Test Application is available for download. Testing of backflow prevention assemblies must be performed by personnel that are certified by American Water Works Association (AWWA), American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA), and American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE).

Entities requesting one-time purchases of bulk water from the District, for construction activities or similar one-time needs must complete and submit a Bulk Water Service Application. Each Bulk Water Application will be reviewed by the District on a case-by-case basis and subject to termination pursuant to Ordinance 9678.
