Youth Resources: Get Tested
Youth 12 years old and older may visit any County of San Diego Sexual Health
Clinic to
receive confidential services (13 years and older for HIV testing).
Please Note: County Sexual Health Clinics do not offer contraception (birth control) or emergency contraception. If you are in need of these services, you may visit your own doctor (who may prescribe contraception confidentially) or a local community clinic, including the sexual health clinics listed below.
County of San Diego Sexual Health Clinics ask for a $40 fee for
testing and related services (which may be waived if you are unable to
pay).
Many community clinics are part of the Family PACT (Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment) program, which provides free, comprehensive family planning services (including STI testing) to low-income people. Visit a clinic to learn more and enroll.
