HIV Planning Group of San Diego

Welcome to the website of the

San Diego HIV Planning Group (HPG)

The mission of the San Diego HIV Planning Group is to plan for the delivery of HIV services throughout the continuum of care to reduce the impact of HIV. The Planning Group is responsible for planning services for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in San Diego, and for allocating funding for these services under the federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009 (RWTEA), Parts A and B.

All meetings of the Planning Group and its committees are open to the public. Spanish interpretation is provided with 72-hour advance notice; contact Planning Council Support Staff to request interpretation.  People living with HIV/AIDS are especially encouraged to attend and to get involved!  For more information about how to get involved, see Become a Member.

Updates regarding COVID-19: CDC Update / Executive Order / Local Health Officer's Order

*All HIV Planning Group meetings and subcomittee meetings are being held virtually via WebEx and ZOOM.

Friendly Reminder and Meeting Updates: The HIV Planning Group will begin weekly meetings in August to review and approve the priority ranking and budget allocation process for the next fiscal year. As a result of this, all HPG committees will not meet in August and will return to their regular meeting schedules in September. Thank you!
