The School Infectious Disease Prevention & Response Program (SIDPRP) offers the following services to education settings across the County. School nurses, staff, and families can request services by filling out the SIDPRP form.
The School Compliance Program (SCP) helps school and child care facilities stay in compliance with California immunization law requirements. School and child care partners can receive education and training on:
- Required childhood immunizations, and
- Annual immunization assessment reporting.
SCP provides immunization resources to school and child care staff and families.

The School Immunization Program (SIP) works with schools to increase immunization rates among students. This is done by:
- Creating and providing vaccine materials for school staff and families,
- Hosting trainings for school health staff, and
- Providing personal consultations with school health staff and school families.

The Epidemiology School Response Team (ESRT) works with schools to prevent and respond to disease outbreaks by:
- Creating and providing disease-specific materials for school staff and families,
- Providing disease prevention education and outreach at events,
- Providing trainings to school health staff, and
- Conducting school site visits where staff will look at the school’s cleaning practices, ventilation and filtration, signage promoting health behaviors, and more.
Please contact ESRT to report a school outbreak or if you notice a rise in cases of any disease.
