Trust Account Customer Service Unit
The Trust Account Customer Service Unit (TACSU) is part of the Planning & Development Services (PDS) Support Services group that supports the Project Planning Division. TACSU provides cashiering and Accela administration services to PDS, DPW, DEH and Parks & Recreation. The Unit manages the Trust Account Fund, where customers place deposits for projects that County staff is reviewing. County employees charge their time in Accela (the County’s Permit system) to charge against these deposits, then the departments are reimbursed for staff costs. Customers receive statements which itemize their deposits, charges, and any balances due. The Trust Account Fund currently holds roughly $16 million.
