Riverside Drive Channel Restoration
Project
Water Quality Project | Completed 2019

This project replaced a concrete channel with a rock-lined channel that helps low-flow runoff soak into the ground.
Before This Project
- An outdated concrete-lined channel carried stormwater runoff through the storm drain system.
- Runoff could not soak into the ground, limiting infiltration
and treatment.
After This Project
- A rock-lined channel allows low-flow runoff to soak into the ground.
- This reduces pollution entering the storm drain system and
helps minimize flood risk.
