Request a Letter of Support

Upon request from a community organization or partner, the County of San Diego's (County) Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Department is able to facilitate the provision of a Letter of Support for approved funding or grant opportunities.

Letters of Support are approved and signed by either the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO) of the County's Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) or the BHS Director. Due to the volume of requests received, please allow six weeks for processing of your Letter of Support. If you need a Letter of Support sooner, please send an email with your deadline and every effort will be made to accommodate your request.

Requesting a Letter of Support does not guarantee that a letter will be provided. Receipt of a signed Letter of Support does not guarantee that the funding for a project will be awarded.
