Special FAA Community Meeting
re: McClellan-Palomar Airport, Carlsbad, CA
To support greater transparency and information flow about air traffic at Palomar Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and McClellan-Palomar Airport will co-host an online informational meeting on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00p.m. to 7:00pm. Representatives from various FAA lines of business will be joined by County staff, along with airport operators, to provide information and answer questions.
Topics will include:
- Jet and propeller operations at McClellan-Palomar Airport;
- Local and federal airport operation regulations;
- Flight training operations; and
- McClellan-Palomar Voluntary Noise Abatement Program.
Attendees may submit questions during registration and during the meeting via the chat feature. The event will be recorded and available for later viewing on this webpage or on the FAA YouTube channel. Please continue monitoring this website for any updates in advance of the event.
