BHS Property Disposition/Transfer Process

Property Disposition Request BHS 203 Form shall be used for all transactions for the proper disposition involving minor equipment under Sections 419 through 422 of the Administrative Code of the County of San Diego as follows:

Departments shall utilize this form for the proper removal and disposition of all minor equipment from said program's physical inventory. All requests must have proper approval from BHS prior to the removal or disposition of any equipment.

Should another County department not find a use for this surplus property, it will be responsibly disposed of through well-established methods such as public auction, competitive sealed bidding, or recycling initiatives aimed at minimizing waste.

Salvage Forms

  • Non-IT Items: must submit form and pictures
    • BHS 203 (For disposition of minor equipment)
  • IT Items: must submit both forms with a group picture of items
    • BHS 203 (For disposition of minor equipment)
    • BHS IT Supplemental (Provide brands & serial numbers for IT items with hard drives. All equipment must be reset to factory settings.)
  • Mobile Devices: must submit both forms with a group picture of items
    • DPC 203 (For disposition of minor equipment)
    • DPC IT Supplemental (Provide brands & serial numbers for mobile devicies and all related items. All equipment must be reset to factory settings.)

Transfers Form

  • All Inventory Transfers: must submit form, no pictures required
    • BHS 204 (For transfer of inventory from one program to another)
