Planning Commission Hearing - February 19 & March 12, 2010

Continued Hearing: General Plan Update Planning Commission Recommendation on Draft Text, Land Use Maps. Road Network, Community Plans, Implementation Plan and Conservation Subdivision Program

The Department of Planning and Land Use (DPLU) continued the public hearings on February 19 & March 12, 2010, that were initiated on November 6, 19, and 20, and December 4, 2009.  The Planning Commission Report and Presentation below explore a number of issues that were raised at the first set of hearings, through a series of Fact Sheets.

Additional hearings on the General Plan Update were held through a set of hearings on February 19 & March 12, 2010, as well as the final Planning Commission Hearing on the General Plan Update on April 19, 2010, where the Planning Planning Commission Recommended approval of the General Plan Update to the Board of Supervisors, with the direction for staff to prepare a Transfer of Development Rights Program and bring it back to the Planning Commission prior to the Board of Supervisors.  The Planning Commission Action and Vote is available on our Web site.
