Palomar Airport Advisory Committee – looking for volunteers to serve on a sub-committee
The Palomar Airport Advisory Committee (PAAC) is establishing a sub-committee to review the Voluntary Noise Abatement Procedures (VNAP) for McClellan Palomar Airport. The sub-committee will consist of members of the PAAC as well as members of the local community, to include pilots and non-aviation associated community members. It is anticipated that the sub-committee shall meet as needed through March 2020 when any recommendations they may have are presented to the PAAC.
If you think you might be interested in serving on this voluntary sub-committee, email Elena.Espinoza@sdcounty.ca.gov with a brief outline of your interest, city of residence and whether or not you are associated with aviation. Please also include any contact details so that members of the PAAC might be able to contact you. All outlines will be provided to the members of the PAAC on the sub-committee who will then make a decision as who to invite onto the sub-committee.
Deadline for applications is October 15, 2019
