Community Enhancement Program
The purpose of Community Enhancement funding is to encourage organizations and activities that promote and generate tourism and/or economic development within San Diego County.
The Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Community Enhancement application submission period is now open. The deadline to submit applications is March 1, 2018.
Applications can be completed by US mail or submitted electronically to the County. For details regarding the application or for a listing of historical awards, visit the Auditor and Controller's website.
Organizations that have applied for Community Enhancement funding and are wishing to address the Board on the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget, Community Enhancement funding, may do so at the beginning of the annual Budget Hearings, currently scheduled for June 11 and June 12, 2018. Each organization should submit a Request to Speak form on the day the group is scheduled to appear. Materials submitted during public hearing become part of the Board's official record. It is requested that the presenter's name, the name of the organization and the meeting date be clearly marked on all materials, and that at least 15 copies be submitted.
