DEHQ Health Permit Fees

The County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) conducted stakeholder outreach virtual meetings and workshops to share program updates and to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on a new cost recovery proposal for fiscal year (FY) 2026-27.

 

DEHQ presented the proposed cost recovery package to the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors on May 6, 2026, and the first hearing was rescheduled to May 20, 2026, where the Board voted and approved the first hearing of the proposed ordinance changes. The second hearing of the proposed ordinance changes was approved by the Board on June 10, 2026. The fees will become effective July 11, 2026 and can be found here on the list of approved fees or by clicking on the blue bar below.
