DEHQ Health Permit Fees

The County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) is in the process of conducting stakeholder outreach virtual meetings and workshops. These events are designed to share program updates and to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on a new cost recovery proposal for fiscal year 2026-27.

DEHQ anticipates presenting the proposed cost recovery package to the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors in Spring 2026. Stakeholders will be notified of upcoming County of San Diego Board of Supervisors Board Hearing dates in advance and of any approved changes to the existing fee structure, which would be effective no earlier than July 1, 2026.
