SB978 -Training and Education Materials

Upon being hired, sworn staff need to complete Core Training as outlined by the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC)/Standard for Training and Corrections (STC).  After completing Core Training, staff are required to complete annual training based on their classification and assignment.  Training requirements are as follows:

Deputy Probation Officer (DPO)

Senior Probation Officer (SrPO)-If assigned to Institutional Services, Work Projects, Work Furlough

Senior Probation Officer (SrPO)-

40 hours yearly

Supervisor, Division Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief, and Chief

40 hours yearly
